[Cebu Diving Log] How Pros Have Fun! Conquering Nalusuan & The Goddess Statue

Hello, ocean lovers! This is Passion Dive, your gateway to the beautiful underwater world of Cebu. 🇵🇭

Following our previous post about the “Turtle Encounter at Buyong,” today we are sharing Day 2 of our diving trip with the “Dream Team.” The destination? The beautiful Nalusuan Island Marine Sanctuary.

Nalusuan is often known as a beginner-friendly site, but when experts visit, it turns into a massive underwater playground. From “No-Hands” hovering to hilarious poses, check out how these pros enjoyed their day!

You can’t say you’ve been to Nalusuan without seeing its signature long wooden pier. Even before jumping in, the view from the surface gets us excited. The wide-open ocean and the structure create a perfect backdrop for the start of our adventure.

Beginners often use their hands to balance, but pros? They just cross their arms and chill. These photos are the ultimate proof of Perfect Neutral Buoyancy.

Just look at them! Hovering mid-water, arms crossed, looking like underwater superheroes. This relaxed posture is what every diver strives for.

Whether moving or staying still, their Trim (body position) remains streamlined and flawless.

The Goddess Statue is the most famous photo zone in Nalusuan. While many divers kneel on the sand to take a photo, our guests decided to hover behind and around the statue, creating a much more dynamic composition.

When you are comfortable in the water, you have room for humor. Check out this “Kamehameha” (Energy Blast) pose! 👐💨 It takes great stability to pull off these funny poses without flipping over. It made the whole group laugh underwater.
