[Cebu Fun Diving] Pro Vibes! A Perfect Day at Hilutungan & Buyong with Turtles

Today, we want to share a story about a “Dream Team” of divers who visited us recently. They were highly experienced divers with impressive log counts. Guiding them was an absolute breeze because their skills were top-notch!
From the crystal-clear waters of Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary to a magical turtle encounter at Mactan Buyong Point, here is the log of our perfect day.
Our first dive site was Hilutungan, a must-visit marine sanctuary in Cebu.
Usually, the first dive serves as a “check dive” to adjust weights and get comfortable. But this team? They were perfect from the moment they entered the water. Just look at that Perfect Trim and Neutral Buoyancy! They didn’t touch the sandy bottom once.
Being a good diver isn’t just about breathing underwater; it’s about being safe, relaxed, and controlled.
It was also heartwarming to see them communicating constantly with their buddies.
And check this out—deploying a DSMB (Surface Marker Buoy) during the safety stop. From the tension on the line to their posture, it was a textbook execution of safety skills. Kudos to you guys! 👏
After a fantastic warm-up at Hilutungan, we hopped back onto our boat and headed to the next site: Mactan Buyong Point.

Buyong Point is known for its beautiful coral gardens and diverse marine life.
People often expect to see turtles at Hilutungan or Moalboal, but today, Lady Luck was on our side. We met a huge Sea Turtle right here at Buyong Point in Mactan! 🐢
Our divers showed true Eco-Diver manners: keeping a respectful distance, not chasing, and definitely not touching the marine life. Thanks to their calm presence, the turtle continued its meal without any stress.
They were serious about skills, but they also knew how to have fun. Check out this diver rocking a cute Cat-Ear Hood! 🐱 It adds such a fun vibe to the photos.
We wrapped up the dive gliding over the vibrant coral reefs of Buyong.

📍 1st Point: Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary

🚤 Moving to the Next Site: King of Passion
