What is Fun Diving?
Fun Diving (also known as recreational diving) is for certified scuba divers who want to explore the underwater world at their own pace. No coursework, no exams — just you, the ocean, and some of the best dive sites Cebu has to offer.
At Passion Dive, we offer two ways to fun dive: straight from our shop into the Kontiki house reef, or by boat to Mactan’s top marine parks.

Dive directly from our beachfront center into the stunning Kontiki house reef. Perfect for a quick, beautiful dive without the need for a boat.

We provide complimentary pickup and drop-off for 2+ divers within the Mactan area. ※ Excludes near-airport areas, Cordova, and Punta Engaño.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is underwater photo shooting available? Yes, underwater photo shooting is included as a complimentary service for all packages — beach and boat diving. However, it may be limited or unavailable depending on conditions on the day, such as strong currents, low visibility, or other safety considerations. We appreciate your understanding.
Q. Do I need a diving certification to join? Yes. All fun diving — both beach and boat — is for certified divers only (PADI, SSI, or any internationally recognized certification). If you don’t have a certification yet, check out our SSI Certification Courses.
Q. Can I join with just one other person? Yes! Our boat fun diving packages start from a minimum of 2 divers. The more divers in your group, the better the rate per person.
Q. Is equipment rental included? Yes, full scuba gear rental is included in all packages. If you prefer to use your own equipment, please let us know when you inquire.
Q. Which dive sites will we visit? We dive at Hilutungan, Nalusuan, Olango, and Buyon Point. The actual sites are selected based on your group’s skill level and the day’s weather and sea conditions.
Q. Is lunch included? Lunch is included in the 3-Dives Package. The 2-Dives Package includes drinks only — lunch is not provided. If you’d like to add lunch to the 2-Dives Package, please let us know when you inquire and we’ll do our best to arrange it. Beach diving includes water and towel.
Q. Can you pick us up from our hotel? Free transfer is available for groups of 2 or more within the Mactan area. Cordova, Punta Engaño, and near-airport areas are excluded. Please mention your accommodation when you inquire.
